SUMMER THEMES

At Red Apple Montessori, our summer programs are as unique and interesting as your little one. We have a different theme for each week that will amuse your children and at the same time educate them about the world around them.

Math Week: Everything around us can be better understood with mathmatics. Preschool is a good time for children to become interested in counting, sorting, building shapes, measuring and estimating. Our Little Einsteins gather this week to learn all about numbers!

Cooking Week: Join us as our little chefs prepare many tasty treats, in our exciting week long camp. The week will take your taste buds on an unforgetable journey featuring homemade pizzas, quessadillas, muffins and more. Come join the fun. Bon Appetite!!

International Week: This weeks camp explores 5 different regions of the world through music, dance, food, projects, and literature. Each child receives his or her own passport. Come travel around the world with us as we start in South America, carefully travel through an African safari, go through exotic India and China, finally coming back to America just in time for the 4th of July Celebration!!

Going Green Week: Its easy being "Green". Just Reduce, Reverse and Recycle. This is the theme for the week and kids get hands on to help protect our earth by learning and doing activities using recycled items, that can help save our planet.

Animal Planet Week: From going on a wild african safari, to exploring deep sea underwater creatures, here's a week filled with fun and crafts from the animal world.

Science Week: Little Scientists in the making! A week exploring, experimenting and inventions!. Easy educational science projects for preschoolers. Our young children will be learning about science using magnets, plants, weather and more. Come join us this week to make your own volcano and see it erupt!!

Space Week: Blast off into the solar system for fun and adventure while learning about stars, planets, the solar system and what it means to be an astronaut.

Dinosaur Week: Go prehistoric!! This week children will create clay dino's, a large mural and learn about their favorite types of dinosaurs.

Community Helper Week: Come and join us this week to learn more about those people who help make our community a fun and safe place to live in. Our children will learn about Farmers, Policemen, Dentists, Firefighters and Teachers with rhymes and songs, arts and crafts, and games.
